An inter-dimensional portal exists between Herk Harvey’s CARNIVAL OF SOULS and Doris Wishman’s BAD GIRLS GO TO HELL . . . and it’s called LOVE AFTER DEATH. This is the story of Montel -- a sexually frustrated creep who seeks revenge on his cheating wife after she accidentally buries him alive. Produced somewhere in South America and remixed for American audiences by New York producer Charles Abrams, LOVE AFTER DEATH is a joyously deranged gem that features equal doses of gothic horror, sleazy melodrama, and absurdist experimentation. After watching this movie, you’ll never look at Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Premature Burial” the same way again.
Shot in New York by LOVE AFTER DEATH producer Charles Abrams and starring adult film princess Jennifer Welles, THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE BEAUTIFUL is an unknown jewel from the bizarro underground. The movie centers around the estate of a politician, where blackmail and scissor-murders go hand in hand with smoking weed and fetish whippings. Combining a trashy paperback feel with gutter-goth mood, this psychosexual spectacle would feel right at home with the work of exploitation auteur Joe Sarno.

"A couple of weirdo revenge themed sexploitation type jams from Agfa and Something Weird great release, beautiful slipcover. These are by no means masterpieces but there is fun to be had and they are well worth picking up."
"Horrible and sleazy film, so of course I liked it."
"A sleazy double bill from AGFA, and a real obscure one at that. Enjoyable for fans of early sexploitation tinged with horror"
"Couple of old fashioned B&W revenge thrillers, nice slipcover artwork as always from the AGFA team !!"
"I’m glad I bought this. Weird and fascinating. The transfer looks great!"
"My review is for Love After Death only because I have way too much on my plate, too many reviews to do and too little time. Lol this is pretty good stuff, even the way the movie begins. I love a good black and white film, or even a really terrible one, like this one. The dead guy walking in the cemetery reminded me of Night Of The Living Dead, except this was the Z version of that film which was already in poverty lane. The dubbing is terrible, there’s no sound effects when there should be and music when there shouldn’t be - simultaneously even. None of this surprises me in the least, I pretty much already know what to expect from an AGFA release. The plot…. Is there one? Why am I watching this right now? I don’t know! That blonde looks really good naked though, even for a black and white flick. They really must have broken some boundaries in ‘68 with this one. This is like the lesbian softcore porno version of God knows what. There are some very hot women in here, a ton of nudity throughout, and a 5 minute undressing scene that leads to two fully naked women on top of each other; then that damned dead guy comes walking in at the worst time possible to vagina-block them, then the scene abruptly ends ð¤¦. No this doesn’t count as a spoiler, because there’s nothing to spoil. This movie should never have been made in the first place. They tried though, or I think they did? If you’re looking for another piece of trash to watch then you found it! This movie has one of the best glitches I have ever seen - the scene in the woods with the Hispanic detective and the hit men sent after him to dispatch him, I had to rewind it a few times it was confusingly bad, it makes no sense and that is why it is brilliant. Everything is completely off. One piece of music sounded like a James Bond theme rip off meets The Lounge Lizards. Lmao the dead guy just goes around entering women’s rooms, strips down to his underwear, has non-penetrating sex with them and they don’t ever ask who this guy is or where he came from; just lets him do his thing. I like the slipcover, the artwork. There are also shorts and trailers included as well as the additional bonus film “The Good, The Bad, And The Beautiful”. The photography was good, slipcover art work does this horrible trash film its justice."
"I’ve yet to watch the it but thanks to Something Weird, AGFA and VS I’ll probably buy any bizarro underground movie set in New York City that includes adult princesses. Not sure what to expect from this one but I bet it’ll be fun."
"if you like roughies, these are two solid ones. nothing too stand out but a great pick for fans of these types of movies"
"Somehow I lost my first copy of this, so then I had to buy it again. That’s how much I liked it."
