Fun 90’s Thriller

"Fun 90’s thriller, always enjoyed this one. Great story. Recommended."

Jeffrey L. (4/5)

Feardotcom. com is a horror version of Hackers

"This is a mess of a movie that I enjoyed more this time around than my memories recall. It’s definitely a man atmosphere movie with a plot so preposterous in some ways but prothetic in others it’s bizarre. The title itself is silly, the plot is goofy, it’s an all around feast of ridiculous. And it pleased me the entire time."

"This movie was corny I cant lie about that but it had a good idea and I loved how it felt watching an older movie like that almost made it feel nostalgic the movie had good parts the only bad part was the weird little white girl with a 10 pound wig (I'm white) but everything else seemed pretty good and the first death was also pretty bad but if you think about it movies aren't made with that little cgi because there wasn't any back then thats why I think this movie is underrated. Don't get me wrong I understand it was corny in many areas and some of it didn't add up but the overall story made it way better than the rating 3 and I feel like some people have horrible ratings on this site as there are several movies that are decent and have horrible ratings and horrible movies that have decent ratings. To finish this off I would recommend this to watch with a younger audience if you were to want scared reactions and I do not mean children. Movie was a 5 on my list out of 10 because it was very corny and predictable but the storyline was similar as "The Ring" if you have watched horror you know what the movie is."

Shane M. (5/5)

Not the worst horror movie ever made. . . Undeniable art direction.

"Never has something been so aesthetically accomplished and so monumentally stupid. It does however, effectively immerse you in an Americanised (by way of Luxembourg) J-horror that's equal parts German expressionism and Nu Metal. There's too much artistry on display here to live down to its reputation as one of the worst horrors ever made. I love Stephen Dorff (not good here), I love Natascha McElhone (finding humanity in an environment lacking all empathy), but even then, this is surely proof that if you put three commentary tracks on a new Blu-ray of a film I previously (maybe even purposely) avoided, I will buy it. That's what finally made me get off the fence, and I'm. . . mostly glad I did. The director commentaries are bad though, both archival and retrospective. All the best details are in the often pretty awkward on-camera interview. Video essays and critic commentary are the far superior extras."

Timothy E. (2/5)

Early 2000's nostalgia

"If you're like me you've been getting some early 2000's nostalgia lately, and this is a perfect flick to cure that! Isn't the best movie of the time , but one can appreciate it."

logan m. (3/5)

So early 2000s

"I know a lot of folks don’t like this movie but I do lol. Haven’t seen it since an early dvd, this transfer is great."

Zachery M. (5/5)

Dreadful Re Watch

"I remember liking this film the first time I saw it. The second time, not so much. It really felt like with the subject matter that this film was a true product of its time. It has some good actors in it that are not great in their roles. The slipcover is pretty nice though."

Nathan L. (1/5)

Feardotcom

"This amazing and unusual film is my favorite. Setup of this film story was the first of its kind and many copies follow suit. The artwork of the bluray is good. The quality of the bluray is superb. I have champion this film since it initial dvd release from Warner Bros."

Albert M. (5/5)

I know it's not everyone's

"I know it's not everyone's speed, but I think this movie is a ton of fun. I'd go to this first over the american ring personally lol. Great transfer, love how moody and dumb it is. Just overblown excellence from a style of horror movie overindulgence you dont see anymore. I also love the slipcover and art for this specific release. Looks great."
