    "Over the last years Eugenio Ercolani has become the leading expert when it comes to all things Italian genre cinema. He produces tons of featurettes and interviews on Blu-Rays from several boutique labels and I appreciate his work a lot. Since he is Italian himself and the grandson of screenwriter and director Giulio Petroni (Death Rides a Horse, Tepepa), he has a lot of connections in the Italian film industry and it shows. There is so much insight and interesting facts in this book, that it blows my mind. The book itself is a great quality hardcover book with lots of color pictures. Highly recommended!"

    Great and thorough read for cannibal film fans

    "Great quality hardcover book, with tons of info, anecdotes, interviews, stories, and great pictures, that spans the Italian cannibal film cycle. Haven't made my way through all of it yet, but great so far. Only critique really is the text font is a bit smaller than I'd have liked, and possibly smaller than other Pulse Video books. The writing here is much stronger than the roughly translated after the world ends book. If you want to learn more about the Italian cannibal film cycle, this is a great resource."
