When perpetually upbeat factory worker Mike Alvarado drops his family’s savings into the digital void of cryptocurrency, he strikes gold — or so he thinks. Mike’s newfound fortune quickly transforms him from lovable screw-up to delusional kingpin, torching his relationships with his girlfriend, his developmentally disabled brother, and his recovering addict cousin. As his portfolio plunges, Mike’s addiction to volatility starts to look like every other form of self-destruction surrounding him.

"Even though you can make a case that the Safdies started out as mumblecore filmmakers (but not really), this film will answer the question “what if the Safdies made a mumblecore version of Uncut Gems”? Uncomfortably hilarious at times, this tale of bitcoin bros is a hoot from start to finish."
