This listing is for the standard edition Blu-ray. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Luke Insect) was limited to 500 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

Founded in 2002 as one of the first-ever subscription film services with its DVD-of-the-Month Film Club, Film Movement is now a North American distributor of award-winning independent and foreign films based in New York City. In 2015, Film Movement launched the reissue label Film Movement Classics featuring new restorations released theatrically as well as on home video, with an emphasis on films by auteur directors such as Eric Rohmer, Peter Greenaway and Takeshi Kitano.

Cut off from civilization, a single mother puts her children on high alert when they bring home a young girl caked in clay. She tells of spirits and spirit hunters, but these are not mere superstitions. As more strangers show up on her doorstep, she quickly finds another reason to fear the forest. Roh-oh! Slowburn gem cranks up the unease

"Roh ('Soul') reminded me of The Witch. It follows a rural family who rescue a girl lost in the jungle. Once she is part of their home, the girl warns them that death will come for the family at the next full moon, triggering a spiral of curses, witchcraft and strangers who may or may not be the death the child has predicted. . . Visually stunning, Roh takes its time, ramps up the feelings of dread, and comes highly recommended."

"Now this was a major discovery. A Malaysion fairy tale that has such a feel of dread in it's isolated setting and the small cast does a really nice job. The 21 minute making of was pretty good too showing the behind the scenes moments that were pretty entertaining. Great movie."
