Interesting Look Back at a Great Video Game

"A fun trip down memory lane. This was a great nostalgic look-back into the history of one of the first first-person shooter video games. This is a documentary that I will be re-watching many times."

      Jonathan L. (4/5)

      This brought back a lot

"This brought back a lot of nostalgia. My friends and I spent countless hours playing Goldeneye. The quality is very good and I like the package. The Nintendo 64 game design is pretty cool. If you played games in the 1990s, then this is a good buy."

      Bradley T. (5/5)

      Great, nostalgic watch

"A fantastic release for fans of games from the Nintendo 64 era! This was a ton of fun to watch and a nice trip down memory lane of how much that game meant to so many people. Hopefully there are more documentaries like this in the future."

      Erik G. (4/5)

      A must have for those

"A must have for those that feverishly played this classic game like I did. It’s a fascinating story how it all came about, relaxing a game based on a movie years later. The disc isn’t loaded with extras but what’s there is pretty good. And I LOVE the slipcover and over packaging on this one. It’s a shame that the slipcover is limited, as it definitely wouldn’t be as effective without it."

      Kyle C. (4/5)

      Golden!

"The nostalgia and quality of this documentary is amazing! The style they use is also great! Loved this documentary!"

      Billy P. (4/5)

      GoldenEra is Golden

"GoldenEra on Blu-ray is a clean and well-authored release for a documentary focused on the legacy of GoldenEye 007. The video quality is solid, with sharp visuals and good color balance. Audio is clear throughout, capturing interviews and narration without issue. Bonus features include extended interviews and behind-the-scenes content that offer some added value. While the documentary starts strong with interesting history and developer insight, it loses steam in the second half as it shifts focus to fan commentary. A decent release overall, but mostly for hardcore fans of the game or retro gaming history."

      Tristin B. (4/5)
