Not what you would expect but more value than you would have thought
"A great film filmed with Gothic undertones and beautiful landscapes borrowed from a old school western. A paranoia film that questions what is the truth and who do you believe. Titus plays his role as van helsing with tormented darkness and brooding character."
— Donald P. (4/5)
Excellent take on Dracula mythology
"Hits on the important issue of who is the hero and who is the villain and how do we decide. Fear makes us believe what we're told, and it takes a brave man to make up his own mind. Great concept well executed. Basically it is a reverse Frailty, the Bill Paxton classic that you must see if you haven't. I don't know the Joe Hill source material but the film certainly mirrors Frailty's journey between belief and doubt, only going the other way. Well acted by Bosch's Titus Welliver. Beautifully shot and directed in a 1. 33 ratio. Highly recommended."

Emotional Fun Ride!
"Abraham's Boys takes Van Helsing's story and throws you for loops you do not expect! Very creepy and unnerving. Joe Hill really wrote this well!"
— Kirk B. (5/5)
Abraham's Boys
"A creepy revisionist take on Dracula. Makes me want to read more Joe Hill books. A bit too polite to be really effective, like so much of Shudder's output, but worth a look."
— Richard B. (4/5)
