"One of the best looking releases on my shelf currently. Still haven't checked the film out but I love the cast and this type of comedy, so absolutely looking forward to it!"
"Good movie"
"Dogleg is a sharp, character-driven coming-of-age drama that captures the awkwardness, humor, and tension of adolescence. The story follows a young protagonist navigating social hierarchies, friendships, and first experiences, balancing comedic missteps with moments of emotional resonance. Performances feel authentic and relatable, highlighting the mix of insecurity and curiosity that defines the teen experience. The film’s pacing and style embrace realism, with naturalistic dialogue and grounded scenarios that enhance the immersive quality. Dogleg succeeds as a bittersweet and sometimes funny exploration of youth, identity, and the messy process of growing up."
"I’ve seen people love the movie and seen people hate the movie, I am in the middle. The central/main story is well done, but some of the rest is pretty scattered and doesn’t always make sense/add anything to the rest. Interesting shorts in the bonus content."
"Very good dry comedy! Slipcase is nice and fits the mood."
"Good film and nice edition"
"A highly enjoyable collection of short stories anchored by a very funny tale of one bad day on LA. It has a lot to say about film, all while remaining elusive and enjoyable. Highly recommend picking it up."
