The Ques and the Capulets have been engaged in a years-long rivalry, which has fostered such a vicious feud that they’ve each forbidden their children from having any contact with those of the other. When lovable and smut-obsessed slacker Tromeo Que and his friends decide to sneak into a lavish party being hosted by the chaste and proper Juliet Capulet, the two fall in love at first sight. "I could sit here and tell you this is a great movie. It's Troma so it's not. It is a lot of fun though if you know what you are getting yourself into. I saw this growing up and hated it, but now that I have seen other Troma movies I can appreciate it. It's a classic story with tons of exploitation nods in it. Highly recommend it if you know what to expect."

Troma delight!
"Have been a Troma fan for the longest time, in particular anything directed by uncle Lloydy. This is prime era Troma and a great fun film. Terror Firmer happens to be my favourite Troma film and I picked up the VS release of that a while back which encouraged me to grab T&J. Both of these movie have blown me away with the picture upgrade, I never expected them to look this good. The packaging is fantastic and these releases have pride of place on my shelf. Hoping you get hold of Poultrygeist next!"

Actually what did I just watch
"Tromeo and Juliet is genuinely one of the most unhinged movies I’ve come across in a while, but somehow that’s exactly why it works. It takes the basic Romeo & Juliet setup and completely drowns it in Troma-style chaos, gross-out humor, and pure late-90s punk energy. Honestly, seeing Lemmy involved already told me everything I needed to know going in. The whole movie feels like a fever dream made by people who were fully committed to making the weirdest thing possible, and I have a lot of respect for that."
