Reviews

A very nice release by

"A very nice release by HRH a new partner label. Reminded me of a Yorgos Lathimos flick filled with satire and a totally weird vibe. Great all around package with a ton of extras. It's definitely a rewatch cause there is so much going on here."

Bryan K. (5/5)

Dead

"A beautiful satire film, you must order this release"

Sean I. (5/5)

Hilarious and Horrifying Satire

"A strong debut from Natalia Sinelnikova. Loved the design and the look of the film, the cast is execellent. Hilarious and horrifying satire that reminds me of Ballard and others in how easy fear in itself can trigger peiople to do unforgivable things. Great extras. Highly recommended"

Hansi L. (5/5)

Great release with subtitle issue

"This is not the only release to have this, but I thought I'd talk about it here. We get burned in subtitles for some reason. That means if you speak the language and want to turn them off, you're out of luck. Several releases have been like this and there's really no excuse for it now. It's not like we're back in VHS days. Make the subtitles removable. A great movie. I still can't believe they went with this image for the slipcover. It's on the disc and reversable cover as well. It certainly caught my eye and I'm very happy with my otherwise blind purchase."

Ed K. (5/5)

A blind buy that turned out solid

"Movie is a strange one to be sure but the music, the acting and the cinematography are all on point, at many points it feels like a David Fincher movie with the muted visuals. Overall I would recommend to anyone that likes a slow burn anxiety builder."

Anthony L. (5/5)

Amazing film!

"Super underated film. Ranks up there with the best of a certain Greek director we all know and love. I recommend going in blind!"

Justin T. (5/5)

5 stars

"solid release"

Andy N. (5/5)

We Might As Well Be Dead

"An enjoyable film."

Gloria W. (5/5)

Tense and pretty

"I really enjoyed this film. So much tension and paranoia among neighbors. Maybe a bit on the nose but it is also showing societal tendencies. The building where the film was shot was a perfect setting and the filming really made it look like art."

Thomas F. (5/5)

Great release!

"A tower block on the edge of a forest, people hoping to join the building's community as it is one of the last bastions of civilization in a world that has fallen apart."

Sebastian V. (5/5)
