"The Gullspång Miracle plays out like a real-life thriller, slowly revealing layers that feel stranger than fiction. What starts as a quiet, human story keeps twisting in unexpected ways, pulling you deeper with each revelation. It’s gripping without being sensational, leaving you unsettled and thinking about it long after it ends."
"I enjoyed the hell out of this. Very moody documentary, and the back of the slipcover is giving me Laura Palmer vibes."
"Unusual Swedish documentary - recommended."
"Blind buy. Excited for it!"
"Watched the trailer and had to get a copy. The doc itself has a lot of unexpected twists and turns Filmmaker Maria Fredriksson talks about it in the interview in the extras. Highly recommended. ."
"I only watched half of the trailer before purchasing this and was sold. Intriguing premise from the start. But what this turns into, I definitely wasn’t expecting. The story is constantly evolving and becoming more interesting as the film progresses. The director had a special one on her hands. One of the better documentaries I’ve ever seen. There is one special feature included, what appears to be an online interview with the director. She shares some difficulties production experienced while filming and some updates. Wish it was a bit longer and more was included for this very special film. Love the packaging for this, beautiful design."
"So many twists and turns. Just when you think you have it figured out, these ladies really twist your brain. A documentary that becomes a mystery that becomes a reflection on history and belief. I think the original concept was surpassed and the director was talented enough to capture it to tell a compelling story without forcing an answer."
"Two pious sisters buy an apartment after having witnessed a divine sign - only to realize that the seller of the apartment looks identical to their other sister, who committed suicide some thirty years before."
"Great release and slip"
