"Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted is a laid-back, offbeat documentary that captures the eccentric charm and creative spirit of its subject. Swamp Dogg comes across as funny, reflective, and totally one of a kind, making the film feel as much like hanging out as it does a traditional doc. It’s an easy, enjoyable watch with a lot of personality and a genuine sense of warmth."
"This film definitely uses AI for some animation effects in the very beginning of the film. (I believe this was completed before the whole Late Night with the Devil thing). That's really all that's there, and it doesn't change that the rest of the film is incredibly interesting. It does leave a bad taste in my mouth though in 2026. If that doesn't ruin it for you, there's some fascinating stuff in here and some very intriguing characters floating around."
