When Marian is on the run, she goes to the only place she knows is safe: her childhood home. She is greeted by her estranged sister, Vivian, a stay-at-home housewife struggling to conceive and on the verge of a failing marriage. Though the two are identical twins, they live opposite lives. Marian’s mysterious return disrupts Vivian’s small-town routine, and the sisters must learn to reconnect and reconcile. When Marian's haunting past finally catches up to her, their separate worlds collide, catapulting both sisters into grave danger.

"Factory 25 is the OCN Partner Label that releases some great and underseen indie films. Here they release 2021's Superior which is about a girl who while on the run travels to her childhood home and her twin Vivian. The movie is a well made thriller and had good acting and held my interest. The movie was shot on 16mm and has a wonderfully grainy look that I love. There is a lengthy booklet, a short film, Q & A session and a commentary. The slipcover is great quality too. Check out this release if you love indie dramas or indie thrillers. It was well made."
