"Fabulous French thrills! Wonderfully weird!"
"This was a blind buy I was pleasantly surprised by. The direction and acting are great. Some of the cinematography looks real nice, especially considering the setting. There's some good gore and laughs. The special features are limited, but the slipcover is super sweet!"
"This is true dark comedy like only the French can do. I sat at the end when the credits rolling being like WTF did I just watch? Definitely a compliment. This one is gonna stay with me for a bit. Nice picture quality too."
"Very fun dark comedy from France, about vegan activists getting what they deserve. This one was a total blind buy for me, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Will probably check out director's future work, as this film is pretty solid and entertaining."
"Some Like It Rare was a blind buy for me, because the trailer looked fantastic. Like Sweeney Todd without the music. While it is charming and funny, it has a short run time that could have used another 10-15 minutes of fleshing (pun intended) out the characters. Towards the end of the film, some character motivations seemed out of left field, because the plot simply needed to move to the next step, but it felt rushed. A decent watch."
"Love this dark comedy/indie film Looks great. Standard special features Great slipcover and artwork Recommended"
"Great foreign film"
"Solid little French comedy about cannibalism, though it does lack some satirical bite. Funny nonetheless."
"It is what it is, but the box and artwork are great."
"Great!"
