Chris wants to show his girlfriend Tina his world and he wants to do it his way - on a journey through the British Isles in his beloved caravan. Tina's led a sheltered life and there are things Chris simply needs her to see. But it doesn't take long for annoying tourists, overbooked camp sites, and Tina's meddling mother to spoil Chris' dream. Now he's out to prove that hell truly hath no fury like a vacationer scorned. Director Ben Wheatley (Kill List) cleverly mixes pitch-black humor with over the top violence to create an uncomfortably hilarious portrait of a seemingly normal man pushed over the edge.

Reviews
Strong Early Wheatley
"Sightseers is a darkly funny road movie that blends romance with sudden bursts of violence in a way that feels both shocking and oddly sweet. Ben Wheatley keeps the tone balanced between deadpan humor and unsettling moments, making the film feel unpredictable throughout. It’s a strange mix, but its sharp writing and offbeat charm make it a memorable ride."

Power of Love
"I haven't seen this since its premiere and my memories said it was ok film, but i was wrong: this was a much better and funnier "honeymoon killers" roadmovie than i remembered."
— Markus K. (4/5)
Fantastic set for this underseen
"Fantastic set for this underseen pitch black comedy from Ben Wheatley. Booklet on Alice Lowe was a nice addition. Great array of extras. Humour is balanced with some great gore. Highly recommended release and no problems as always ordering from the VS app or website!"
— PAUL A. (5/5)
Fun Comedy Horror Film
"I really enjoyed this film. I had wanted to see it for years after watching Kill List. It kind of reminds me of a slapstick comedy where the leads just constantly end up dispatching people they meet on holiday. Highly recommend a watch on this one."
— Nathan L. (4/5)
Fantastic movie, hope it got
"Fantastic movie, hope it got an award of some sort along the way. Deserves it. Alice Lowe and Steve Oram are amazing actors, big fan of both of 'em. Every other actor, human and canine, did tremendous work as well. Absolutely no sour notes. Spoiler alert : no spoilers! Surprise! You'll just have to find out for yourself. If you like a movie that bobs and weaves away from specific categories, and dodges any description hurled at it with ease, give this film a try. It's a winner."
— Jason H. (5/5)
A nice little dark comedy
"A nice little dark comedy of a couple road tripping across beautiful backdrops. Although I enjoyed this movie enough, I found the motivation of the characters very confusing."
— Charles S. (3/5)
Love on the Edge of a Cliff
"Sightseers is a wicked little road trip into the darkly comic corners of human desire, where romance and resentment share the same cramped caravan. Ben Wheatley steers the film with a sly grin, letting its sweetness curdle slowly as the couple at its center discover that shared hobbies can be a dangerous thing when one of them happens to be murder. The humor is bone dry, the violence abrupt, and the emotional unraveling strangely touching. It is a travelogue of petty grievances and escalating chaos, all delivered with a cheerfully morbid charm. If you enjoy your comedy with a sharp blade hidden beneath the picnic blanket, this one is a delightfully twisted ride."
— Jimmy W. (5/5)
I'm so happy with this
"I'm so happy with this order! Another Ben Wheatley film which is always a plus because I loved everyone of his films. What a pitch black comedy! So very biting, it's so far my second favorite in Ben Wheatley's filmography after High-Rise. Beautiful release and a nice amount of extras too!"
— Bryan K. (5/5)
Black comedy
"Sightseers is a pitch‑black comedy that blends domestic awkwardness with sudden, shocking violence—very much in line with director Ben Wheatley’s off‑kilter sensibilities. The film follows a seemingly ordinary couple on a caravan holiday across rural England, where petty grievances and simmering frustrations spiral into a string of increasingly unhinged crimes. What makes the film so effective is its tone: sweet, mundane romance colliding with bursts of deadpan brutality. Alice Lowe and Steve Oram (who also wrote the script) give wonderfully committed performances, turning their characters’ quirks into something both funny and unsettling. Wheatley’s direction grounds the absurdity in naturalistic settings, making the darker turns feel all the more jarring. It’s a sharp, strange, and darkly hilarious road‑trip movie—part character study, part satire, and entirely its own thing."
— Tarek E. (3/5)
This Is A Very Fun Movie To Watch!
"This is a horror comedy that is really funny! The performances are really fun, and the action is also present throughout! While perusing my favorite website, I noticed this really awesome slipcover, which drew me in, as is often the case with the slipcover kings, VS!
