          Great slasher release

"This movie goes places in the first 5 minutes that I was not prepared for. That being said, I had a lot of fun with it. Not the best slasher but I don’t think it’s really trying to be. Happy to have it in the collection"

          Nicholas V. (4/5)

"It was okay, overall a decent watch. I don't know why I thought this was older than it is, for some reason I thought this was early 2k release that I'd seen before."

          Justin B. (4/5)

          Scalper (2023)

"A little bit too dark for my liking, but always happy to see Kelli Maroney in something."

          Benjamin W. (3/5)

"Great low budget thriller from the same crew that brought you Pig Killer. The kills were reminiscent of those old slasher films from the 80’s. Awesome throw back film."

          Bob S. (5/5)

          fun sequel

"I was surprised to find out THE NIGHT CALLER had a sequel & happy to see I could get it here! It's not as good, in my opinion. NIGHT CALLER has a richer look, but SCALPER jumps in feet first with griminess & keeps on going! Bai Ling's presence is awesome & terrifying."

          Isaac W. (4/5)

          Underrated

"I enjoy the character “Clementine Carter”, played by Susan Priver, who plays the same psychic in Night Caller (2021). This has great practical gore, and throwbacks to classic slasher. Give it a chance."

          Jeffrey L. (4/5)

          A fun trashy movie.

"It is a low budget horror film with some rough edges. But it is worth a watch."

          Worth it

          "Wild low budget ride"

          Travis O. (5/5)

Gnarly gore FX but not much else here impresses

"Has some gnarly gore FX but not much else here impresses. It's a no budget Nightmare on Elm Street knock off without any wit or sense of fun. Not awful but also not good and often just dull. Shame as it's got a pretty killer poster."

          craig g. (2/5)

          I struggle with modern horror,

"I struggle with modern horror, especially slashers. They just can’t seem to nail down why we loved them so much in the 80s. That said, every once in a while I take a chance on something that piques my interests. And that’s where this film comes in. It was on sale for the right price, so I thought, what the heck, let’s give it a go. And I’m glad I did! Again, it’s not great compared to the slashers of yore, but it’s not a bad way to waste 80 min. either. Cool mask, decent kills, a little mean spirited. Now I just need to find the first film on sale. Extras are your standard mix of making of featurette, deleted scenes, etc. so not bad at all. And I liked the slipcover as well that apparently matches the first film."
