Great movie

"I really dug this, very tense, uncomfortable film. Great package. Highly recommended."

David R. (5/5)

Raging Grace

"This feels like a genuinely strong pickup: the Blu‑ray gives the film’s sharp social tension and creeping unease a clarity that really amplifies its impact. Vinegar Syndrome’s presentation highlights the contrast between domestic intimacy and simmering dread, letting the film’s visual language breathe in a way streaming never quite managed. As a purchase, it feels fully justified — a contemporary thriller whose bite and atmosphere are only strengthened by the upgrade."

Pierre-Yves L. (4/5)

I enjoyed this take on

"I enjoyed this take on the haves vs the have-nots that isn't exactly what it seems from the outset. It starts slow but stick with it until the end. Although somewhat predictable the "twist" is still very satisfying. The acting is good all around."

Michael B. (4/5)

A fresh and necessary take on classic tropes

"In Raging Grace, a very specific immigrant experience (the Filipino community in the UK) and a critique of colonialism's legacy come together in an entertaining and non-preachy way. There's classical Hitchcockian thriller in its DNA (dark humor included) with more on its mind that simple scares. This is my second Brainstorm purchase after Starve Acre and I continue to be impressed; Everything is top quality from the feature and extras to the gorgeous slip design. Recommended."

Shawn P. (5/5)

Now this is a Thriller

"Now this is a Thriller worth ever dollar! Amazed by this film. Just so bizarre and well acted not to mention the fantastic music. Kinda reminded me of Parasite to tell you the truth but maybe even better. We get some nice special features too. Nice release!"

Bryan K. (5/5)

Under the radar film

"Another great Vinegar Syndrome partner label. This movie hits all of the right notes when it comes to a suspenseful movie about a mother and daughter. Highly recommended!"

Andrew M. (5/5)

Kind of a Lazy Release for a Great Modern Horror Film

"Cool packaging and an excellent essay by the great Walter Chaw, but it could've used a 4K release, it seems like they just uploaded it from Shudder. The special features are minimal. Great film though."

Matthew M. (4/5)

Twisty Atmospheric Thriller

"Very fun atmospheric thriller with tons of twists and turns. Highly recommended."

Jeffrey L. (4/5)
