VHSHITFEST has been uncovering and releasing movies on video for over a decade, across DVD and VHS, and is now moving into blu-ray, with the same goal to showcase the most unique, crazy, and obscure movies that they've discovered through years of collecting VHS, allowing even more people to actually be able to experience these nearly lost gems in the best versions possible.

In an apocalyptic wasteland, a pirate radio host fights off mutants and FCC assassins while he travels across America to Hollywood, blasting his illegal broadcast along the way. It’s Road Warrior meets Smokey and the Bandit.

Radio Free Steve is a unique and hilarious post-apocalyptic indie epic that features a wide array of familiar faces: Nathan Zellner (Sasquatch Sunset), Dean Haglund (The X-Files), Johanna Stein (Mulholland Dr.), Dave Kendall (MTV 120 Minutes), and many more. There’s even a Boards of Canada song on the soundtrack! VHSHITFEST loves to bring this obscure gem to Blu-Ray for the first time!

              Superb low-budget SOV series

"Being in the UK, I’d not heard of or seen any of this series previously. So when I saw it was available as a PL release, I knew I would enjoy it. It’s superb low-budget entertainment with some good gory scenes. Looking forward to watching the second disc with the various extras, Superb slipcover and artwork."

              Low Budget Ambitious Fun

"Dead of Night is a moody, low-budget horror anthology that leans into atmosphere and classic genre vibes. Wayne Spitzer and Andy Kumpon keep things simple, focusing on eerie setups and unsettling moments rather than big effects. It’s a rough-around-the-edges watch, but there’s a genuine passion for horror here that makes it enjoyable for fans of indie fright films."

              Shawn M. (4/5)

Acquired Taste, But If You Appreciate DIY Passion This is for You!

"This public access show is an acquired taste. BUT if you appreciate DIY-style passion and people that just make something because they wanted to, DEAD OF NIGHT is an achievement and worth a watch. Also check out the bonus features including audio commentary for select episodes!"

              Joseph M. (4/5)

              Right up my alley

"I sadly haven't had a chance to dive into this one, but given the subject matter (Mid 90s public access X-Files) and VHShitfest's unblemished record I know I'll probably love this set!"

              Michael G. (5/5)

              Fun silly SOV series that

"Fun silly SOV series that delivers the best and worst of an X-Files monster of the week episode. Disc is stacked with short films, an unaired episode, commentaries, and much more. And I love the cover, homaging a bad foreign movie poster."

              Kyle C. (4/5)

              Hazy, dreamlike and comforting

"Such a nice discovery, it really is properly weird, yet also like a comfortable blanket. Perfect disc for me to reach for when is wanna watch something out of the ordinary but don't want to dedicate to a full or short movie."

              Teun H. (5/5)

              Very Interesting Flick!

"This entertainment oddity looks like something that came somewhere out of left field, but it is a very engaging and enjoyable watch! The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

              Damn VHSshitfest really put out

"Damn VHSshitfest really put out the more interesting, fun whacked out releases. That's why I love them so damn much. A SOV television serious, didn't even know these things broadcasted on Public Access. I've watched like 4 episodes so far as I need to space out my TV viewing but I'm loving it so so. Great presentation guys!"
