Potato Dreams of America

"Potato Dreams of America is a unique cinematic journey that blends humor, art, and impactful storytelling in an unexpected and visually appealing way. I liked the type of humor in this movie and the artistic take on the way they delivered the story; it made it visually appealing without losing the focus of the movie. I personally liked the first half of the movie more than the second half, but only because the 2nd half takes a bit of a darker turn, which is why the 4 stars out of 5 rating. It's like you get comedy for a while and then it switches to a more serious tone. The story itself was pretty interesting and impactful. Even though I didn't go through the same challenges as Potato and his mom, the film does a great job of making their journey relatable. this release is packed with lots of extras, including interviews, behind the scenes, two short films, and even an entire season of a web series. The mini-documentary included was a nice addition that explores more of the real story behind this movie."
