Such a stupid yet fun

"Such a stupid yet fun movie. Really got a kick out of this and I always love a Christmas horror flick. I can see this being a Christmas staple for years. Nice purchase. Good restoration too."

Gloriously silly festive fun!

"When I saw this was being released by Dark Star, I knew it was another title I had to have to add to my festive viewing list. It’s great fun and definitely not one to be taken seriously. It’s clear everyone involved had a great time mking the film. Comes with a superb slipcover. It’s a Region A blu ray, so if outside the U. S. /Canada you need a multiregion player to be able to view."

Andrea M. (5/5)

Saw this on the website

"Saw this on the website and thought it looked a fun one. Great slipcover too."

david d. (5/5)

Excellent comedy

"Lots of laugh out loud moments in this one. This is the kind of movie where if you didn't have a good time, you take yourself far too seriously. The only possible complaint would be if you came to this expecting a serious horror film. I didn't, and I loved every second. Great performances and a truly funny script make for a great holiday watch. Highly recommended."

Watch Gnome Sick When Your Home Sick For Christmas Horror!

"I am a MEGA fan of the Christmas horror subgenre! This really fun flick was a great addition to my massive collection! The slipcover is also amazing, as is always the case with the king of slipcovers, VS! The movie is a fun watch and has all of the usual horror and comedy that comes with this subgenre! The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

Down With The (Gnome) Sickness

"Absolutely love the movie. Absolutely fantastic. The people who made the movie are fantastic, they even remembered me 14 weeks later to tell me the movie was available to preorder and boom! Here we are! Excellent packaging, promptly delivered, everything I could ask for."

My Type of Ridiculous

"If you are expecting high art after seeing the cover and trailer you only have yourself to blame. Stupid fun."

Bruce K. (4/5)

Somehow they managed to make this suck

"Oh, man. This should have been an effortless slam dunk, but the moment I saw the CG blood, I knew I was in trouble. Gnome Sick has literally nothing going for it. There’s just nothing here to justify a watch. And this should have been easy! A gnome horror movie set at Christmas? That’s in the bag. But here we are. Ninety minutes of jokes that don’t land, CG kills that keep everything interesting out of frame, characters you don’t care about, and garbage level filmmaking that isn’t even enjoyably on an ironic level. I’d say it’s better than something like Llamageddon, but that’s really not a compliment."

Gnome Sick: A Cheerfully Deranged Countdown

"Gnome Sick: 7 Slays Til Mithras delivers exactly what its title promises and absolutely nothing more, which is oddly refreshing. The film treats its escalating mayhem with the breezy confidence of a story that knows subtlety is overrated. Each slay arrives with the same chipper inevitability as a holiday ornament falling off a tree, and the looming return of Mithras is handled with a shrug that borders on charming. It is messy, ridiculous, and strangely committed to its own nonsense, which might be the closest thing it has to brilliance."

Jimmy W. (5/5)

Bizarre Holiday Fare

"This will by no means replace an annual viewing of Rudolph."
