Give me an A

"I was expecting this movie to give me a variety of creative ideas and this anthology really delivers. It’s a great mix of horror and comedy that manages to feel consistent even with so many different segments. Some shorts lean more into the absurd, others have some surprisingly effective practical effects that look fantastic in 4K. The slipcase art is striking and looks great on the shelf next to my other boutique releases. Definitely a must-have for fans of modern indie horror!"

Anthology film

"Give Me an A is a fierce, urgent anthology film created in direct response to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, blending horror, satire, and dark comedy to channel collective anger into bold, imaginative storytelling. It’s sharp, emotionally charged, and remarkably cohesive for a project assembled in just three months."

A Raw and Energetic Indie Drama About Youth and Ambition

"Give Me an A is an indie film that dives into the ambitions, anxieties, and messy personal dynamics of its young characters. The story captures a slice of life marked by intensity, desire for recognition, and the sometimes chaotic pursuit of goals. Performances are vibrant and immediate, giving the film a palpable sense of energy and realism. The narrative is episodic, prioritizing character interaction and emotional beats over conventional structure, which can feel both immersive and unpredictable. This is a film for those who appreciate raw, energetic storytelling, where the highs and lows of youth are explored with authenticity and emotional immediacy."

Interesting anthology horror

"Interesting concept and some great practical effects. Some shorts I enjoyed a lot more than others. Overall I’d recommend checking it out."

Nicholas V. (4/5)

Powerfully done anthology

"Like any anthology, some segments are better than others. The real difficulty in assembling this many films is the whiplash tonal shifts between segments. Some of these are some pretty disturbing body horror. Others lighter satire or comedic sections. Overall good at doing what it was intended to do, which is tick people off about the loss of rights. I don't know who said it first, but if men could get pregnant, abortions would be free on every street corner. Not a doubt in my mind that is true. All time great slipcover image, but implies a lighter tone than many of the segments have. Some recognizable faces. Especially happy to see Molly Quinn from Castle who I hadn't seen in years."
