"This film was just what I wanted. An unreleased on HD slasher. Thanks for this I really enjoyed it. The main girls are hilariously not very observant! But great film and great location! Was good fun for sure but look at the outfits!"
"I picked this up for two reasons: I love horror movies with rock and roll and I was a big of The Doll, the previous release from Klubb Super 8. Unfortunately, these two reasons aren’t reasons enough to like this movie. This is a very blatant rip off of Halloween, a similarity most obvious from its score, which actually is fantastic and the best part of the movie. The majority of this movie is amazingly aimless, even for a slasher. I know it has a historical context as it’s one of the first slashes released in Sweden. It’s low budget isn’t necessarily a hinderance to the film. It’s the lack of direction and lack of any interesting characters whatsoever. The rock band, Revanch, mostly wanders throughout the woods, commenting on almost anything they observe. At 90 minutes, it felt almost double that. For anyone who likes this movie, the extra features are actually fantastic. There are bloopers, interviews with the cast 23 years later and a location feature of the abandoned estate where the movie was filmed. Loved the slipcover. Wished a bit more for this one!"

"I enjoyed this one. I love slashers, and this one gives everything you'd expect from one except for the violence. I saw reviews complaining about that and that's fair. It didn't bother me though. I'm a sucker for bands ending up in Scooby-Doo type situations. Franco's Killer Barbys movies are classics and if you're one of the millions who disagree you're wrong. So we don't get gore or nudity, but we get a well shot little flick with a pretty cool storyline. The backstory for the killer is stronger than many movies of this type. And the bleeding from the eyes thing is unique as far as I know. Better than yet another movie with a masked killer anyway. I'd have liked a bit more music from the band but otherwise pretty good. Worth checking out as long as you don't mind the subtitles. Looks worse than most of the releases from this label, but perfectly fine if you compare it to stuff from Saturn's Core."

The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in!
