Unique to this line, each hand numbered limited edition release will come fitted in a specially designed, bottom loading VHS inspired slipcase (designed by Richard Hilliard), while also including a double-sided poster.
These releases will ONLY be available on our website and at participating indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them. This slipcase edition (designed by Richard Hilliard) is strictly limited to 5,000 units and may (but probably not) be followed by a standard edition in the future.

Strange events have been going on in the small Louisiana town of Marsh Island. Local residents are shocked when the body of a young woman is discovered mutilated in a nearby swamp. Sheriff Aaron Whitaker is convinced he is dealing with a murderer like any other, however some of the more superstitious locals think there may be a supernatural explanation. As more bodies begin turning up, it becomes evident that the Sheriff may in fact be hunting a mythological creature known as a lycanthrope, or in other words, a werewolf! With the help of a prominent socialite named Lousie, Sheriff Whitaker must uncover the identity of whomever or whatever is responsible for the killings before the next full moon claims another victim.

"This one surprised me. You basically have a werewolf running around and killing people, but there is a mystery of who that werewolf could be. It's a lot like The Beast Must Die. It's a TV movie so there's not much in the carnage department, and the werewolf reveal wasn't much of a mystery. All in all it was a good TV movie, and I loved those growing up."

Rather than focusing heavily on solving the murder of a young pregnant woman, the film immerses itself in the tangled relationships, secrets, and small-town dynamics of a sleepy Louisiana bayou community. The result is a compelling, moody piece that feels more like a character-driven mystery than a traditional horror story. The cast is excellent across the board: David Janssen brings his signature weary charm, while Barbara Rush, Bradford Dillman, John Beradino, and a young Geoffrey Lewis all deliver strong, believable performances. It was an absolute delight seeing them in such a pristine, immaculate transfer. Looking forward to more classic TV productions from Iconoscope — this one was a real treat!"
"Great VSA release about a werewolf mixed with some murder mystery in the small hot & humid Louisiana town , this movie focused more on the mystery and investigation so the werewolf action and blood is keep to a very bare minimum, but it's a great 70s tv horror film with very familiar actors , the transfer is top notch and very clean and the VSA packaging is like the rest always with a cool little poster and two different artwork, very fascinating little tv gems for those who like to dive in old days of tv nostalgia 10/10 😎👍"
