This is the listing for the standard edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo. The limited edition silver foil teeth slipcover (designed by Earl Kessler Jr.) was limited to 2,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

One night, when Luther was a boy, he discovered that there was something different about him - he enjoyed the taste of blood. Following in the footsteps of others like him, Luther became a geek: a deranged man who bites the heads off of live chickens in exchange for booze or money. Now, decades later, Luther is about to be paroled from prison and is ready to return to his home town, fitted with a set of razor sharp, metal teeth, and an unquenchable thirst for human blood...

Directed by Carlton Albright (THE CHILDREN), LUTHER THE GEEK is a bloody and bleak rural slasher featuring gruesome gore courtesy of William Purcell (EXORCIST 3) and Mike Tristano (EVIL DEAD 2) in what Fangoria called "the most riveting splatter film since THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE."

Vinegar Syndrome presents this 80s horror classic newly restored from its original 35mm negative and in widescreen for the first time.

Campy Goofy Terror

"OH this one is a classic for sure. Very memorable thriller about a woman who picks up a crazy lunatic and brings him back to the farm. Only for her and her teenage daughter to be terrorized by his chomping teeth. Goofy but entertaining for sure and I have never seen the picture Quality look so good."

Luther the Geek

"I really enjoyed this one, decent straight up horror movie. Acting, direction, cinematography, effects are all up to scratch. Restoration work is great, this release looks really good, it would have been nice if some of the footage in the extras had also been restored, but it doesn't spoil things as they are. Loads of extras, gave some good insights behind the scenes. Love the look of the slipcover, though sadly the Limited Edition was out of print when I came to buy."

Luke S. (5/5)

Troma

"I guess prior to this movie, I had no historical knowledge on what a geek actually was. Uhh. . . Not a bad movie, there's a great set of boobs and the effects are decent. Definitely a drive in movie."

Charles W. (5/5)

Absolutely deranged Troma horror

"Angst but with chicken noises. Am so glad this Troma classic has finally been restored!"

Zakaria S. (5/5)

I Absolutely LOVE This Movie!!!

"This particular slasher film features a young Stacy Haiduk, one of my favorite actresses of the B-movie genre! The premise of this movie is really awesome and way out there! It features lots of action, gore and really cool sets! it always keeps my attention all the way through, no matter how many times I watch it! It also has some really cool special effects! The peerless VS restoration process making the audio and video jump off the screen, is of course, present as always! I HIGHLY recommend this one!!!"
