It's Michael's seventeenth birthday and his friends have decided to surprise him with the ultimate birthday bash: breaking into his house and playing with a Ouija board. But what they think is just a harmless bit of fun quickly turns into a supernatural terror when they unwittingly summon a demonic presence named Virgil, who proceeds to possess someone close to Michael, forcing them to savagely kill anyone and everyone Michael cares about. All the while, Michael begins to have terrifying dreams which he slowly begins to realize might be visions of the carnage that only he can stop.

A bonkers tribute to Nightmare on Elm Street from the reigning king of gory Mexican horror, Rubén Galindo Jr. (Cemetery of Terror, Grave Robbers), DON'T PANIC has gained a long overdue cult fan base in recent years and is guaranteed to leave viewers both awestruck and dumbfounded from its surreal opening through its action-packed finale! Starring American ex-pat, Jon Michael Bischof (who also performs the film's memorable theme song) and loaded with all the crazy kills you could hope for, Vinegar Syndrome is delighted to present the worldwide Blu-ray debut of DON'T PANIC, newly restored in 4K from its 35mm original negative and featuring both its English & Spanish language audio tracks!

Not As Good As Cemetery of Terror

"I wanted to see this because I thought Cemetery of Terror, which was made by the same director, was amazing (they even briefly show it on the tv in this one. ) I’d heard this was a rip-off of A Nightmare on Elm Street, but the first movie it actually made me think of was The Eyes of Laura Mars, thanks to its whole seeing through the eyes of the killer aspect. I guess less people have seen that one, but its whole central conceit is really similar. This one’s alright, but it’s definitely less exciting than Cemetery, with a completely inappropriate ending. The theme song is awesome, though."

Another mexican awesomeness!!

"I already had a great experience with Grave Robbers, which I thought it was an effective and fun gory flick. I decided to get Don't Panic after that great experience and it was no different. This one works as a slasher / fantasy film with really good references to A Nightmare on Elm Street. It is fun from beginning to end!!!"

GILBERTO C. (5/5)

A must watch

"Don't Panic was originally a pickup for me because people kept comparing it to A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, and honestly I can completely see why. It has that same weird dreamlike energy where everything feels slightly off in a way that makes the movie a lot more memorable than a typical supernatural slasher. I really liked how unapologetically 80s it was, from the atmosphere to the practical effects and melodrama. It’s definitely messy at times, but that strange charm is what fuels my love for these kind of flicks."

Kenia C. (4/5)

Fun horror

"Viewing this horror flick for the first time was a wonderfully entertaining ride. Fun storyline, characters, music. Great quality sound and picture. Comes with q handful of extra features and nifty sleeve and slipcover art."

Kresh R. (4/5)

Don't panic

"A Mexican Nightmare on Elm Street tribute where a 17-year-old battles a demon named Virgil — yes, Virgil — while wearing full-body dinosaur pajamas, and honestly the pajamas are doing a lot of heavy lifting. Vinegar Syndrome was so charmed by this beautiful disaster they actually sold replica dino PJs, which tells you everything you need to know about both the film and the label."

Phil L. (4/5)

Not so classic slasher

"It looks great, it sounds great. But the slasher tropes are badly done here and I just couldn't get into it. The story's been done in many better ways over time."

Luc T. (3/5)

Good movie and release.

"The slipcover art is incredible. The movie is worth checking out too!"

JIANJIANG B. (5/5)

Cool Pajamas Kid

"This Mexican slasher gem is a wildly entertaining, supernatural horror piece that belongs on every cult movie fan's shelf."

Kevin G. (5/5)

PANIC!!!

"They need to bring back the Dino PJ's I didn't get a pair first time around. This movie is great. I really like the new slipcover, more so than the old one. Thumbs up"

Nicholas P. (5/5)

Fun movie

"Transfer looks Great. Wild Mexican horror where everyone speaks English."
