Reviews

nice upgrade of two schlocky classics

"I had first seen these two on some of those public domain 50 horror film dvd sets with crappy "transfers" and compressed to death. Well, suffer no more! 2k scans make these wonderfully terrible flicks look better than ever before. Love this stuff."

Living dead!

"Great pair of forgotten drive in slop. They both kind blend together, perfect for a late October double feature."

70s Grinhouse

"70s grindhouse schlock. Just pure cheesy entertainment, with amazing transfers. Sit back and just enjoy them."

Crypt/House of the Living Dead

"Excellent work, another great addition to the Drive-in Collection."

Adam D. (5/5)

Fun double-feature

"Crypt of the Living Dead is an unseen gem. It has the feel of a latter day Hammer. Vampires and an isolated island and some dumb villagers. Second film is about a scientist. I love these double-feature sets from Vinegar Syndrome. Pricewise, you can't go wrong, especially during a sale. I think I picked it up for a five dollar bill."

a choice of vampires or a mad scientist

"crypt of the living dead atmospheric house of the living dead period piece reminded my a little of the Corman/Poe films. Picture quality is rather dark though"

House of the Crypt!

"This classic Vinegar Syndrome double-feature DVD would be worth it for either title alone. The package is elegant and sleazy. And the films are well worth rediscovering. Viva DVD! A format many are only now rediscovering…"
