Reviews
Stunning
"Absolutely one of the most visually stunning films. If I were a TV salesman, I would be playing this to capture a TV’s potential. The sound design is a close second with beautiful and powerful music to pair with the visual. A film like this is a sort of meditation on life, earth, and our connection to it and each other. Take the film for what it is and you will enjoy it."
— Ismael F. (5/5)

You buy it for screen testing!
"Lack of substance. But hi-tech visuals! It looks gorgeous, but it is kind of boring. I bought it to test my setup and man, it delivers!"
— Luc T. (3/5)
An Amazing and Beautiful Journey to Experience!
"I was not sure what to expect with this film, but I love documentaries, so thought I'd give it a shot. And WOW! I was blown away at how this film was shot. The slow-motion captures were incredible, the level of detail was one of the best I've ever seen, and the colors were extremely vibrant. And to top off the high quality transfer of the film, you get a beautiful lenticular slipcase on top of that to pair with the beautiful content that's on the 4K disc. It may not be available anymore, but the 4K disc alone is still more than worth the price of admission."
— Tommy L. (5/5)
Great visuals
"A visual trip . Nice presentation"
— Brad Z. (4/5)
Dreamy, haunting mood piece
"Awaken is more about feeling than plot: dreamy visuals, hypnotic pacing, and a genuinely eerie atmosphere. The dialogue is minimal but works with the trippy, almost music-video style structure. Vinegar Syndrome’s transfer looks sharp with deep blacks and rich colors, so the surreal imagery really pops."
— Thomas L. (4/5)
