Glass Eye Pix (“one of the indie scene’s most productive and longest-running companies” —Filmmaker Magazine) is the fierce independent NYC-based production outfit headed by art-horror auteur Larry Fessenden (BLACKOUT, DEPRAVED, BENEATH, ABC’s of DEATH 2, NBC’s Fear Itself episode “SKIN AND BONES,” THE LAST WINTER, WENDIGO, HABIT, NO TELLING). Glass Eye Pix is responsible for narrative films, documentaries, books, comics, audio plays, and other unique work designed to inspire and contrast with corporate media. Fessenden (winner of the Someone to Watch Spirit Award) has operated the company since 1985, with the mission of supporting individual voices in the arts.

Three aspiring ad-men take a weekend in the wilderness, brainstorming for their first assignment: to overhaul the image of a once popular cleaning product, Claractix. While in the woods, a girlfriend’s mysterious disappearance sparks a harrowing descent into unreality. Personalities contort into extremes and visits are made by a specter from Claractix campaigns of the past as the film careens towards it’s startling climax.

Another great release from Glass

"Another great release from Glass Eye Pictures. The score here is excellent and I dug the feel bad psychological horror vibes. We got a ton of great extras too and 2 pairs of 3D glasses which is very much appreciated."

Bryan K. (5/5)

Interesting

"This release made for interesting, if somewhat strained viewing. Props for the somewhat experimental filmmaking and score. Comes with two movies, first kind of like Blair witch with a sprinkling of Fessenden, the second a VR interrogation?"

Kresh R. (3/5)

A new dimension

"A strange offering for sure. Comes with a classic 3D version and enhanced for 3D TVs. And of course you can just watch it in 2D. That it is of course one of the movies, not both of them are in 3D. Comes with two pairs of glasses and a booklet. Lots of special features including short films."

Anthony L. (4/5)

A pretty quirky and surreal

"A pretty quirky and surreal film throughout. The film is a trip for sure but may not be for everyone."

Mark D. (4/5)

I got this for The Viewer, which is excellent in 3D

"I bought this because I love 3D, I have three 3D TVs and a 3D projector. The Viewer on this disc is watchable in 2D or anaglyph 3D but it looked beautiful on my OLED with some very strong depth and pop-out. I only wish it was longer. I Can See You is less rewatchable but I found it interesting nonetheless. I love the reversible sleeve, this is a great package."

Ian G. (5/5)

If you’re into Lynch & Fessenden

"This is a really weird. Minimal attention to plot but lots to setting look and feel. A slow burn for sure but it sure effectively evokes strong feelings and messages of weirdness."

Brent B. (4/5)

I Can See You

"An interesting collection of experimental cinema. Multiple viewing options for THE VIEWER. Very good picture and sound quality. Nice presentation with a great slipcover, booklet and two pairs of anaglyph 3D glasses."

David P. (4/5)

Glass Eye

"An interesting, surreal pic. The 3D short film that comes with it is a lot of fun as well. Another winner from Larry Fessenden's Glass Eye pix!"

Nathan T. (4/5)

Mumblecore surrealism

"One of those indie movies that gets lost in the shuffle due to the time it was released. With mumblecore being the prevalent style at the time, I Can See You brings you, slowly, into its world of a character drama and then proceeds to warp your mind."

Preston C. (3/5)

Threads dangerously close to the

"Threads dangerously close to the type of Brooklyn-ite pretentious quirk shit I hate so much, treading water for almost an hour in its slow build-up, that thankfully hits its stride in the final third. Even during the potentially wearisome sections, there's a tone and style to the editing and directing, along with a solid music score, that keeps the film going before it finally sets its hooks in, allowing the brand of unspecified madness and/or supernatural tendrils that I enjoy to creep in."
