This special limited edition embossed slipcover (designed by Earl Kessler Jr.) is limited to 6,000units and is only available here at VinegarSyndrome.com!
A group of aliens in a guitar shaped spaceship are on the hunt to find the true source of Rock n’ Roll. After spotting teenage DeeDee and her boyfriend Frankie, each of whom are vying to become the top rocker in the small town of Speelburgh, the aliens land, only to set off of an increasingly strange series of events and musical mayhem that threatens the very existence of the town itself!
Starring the legendary actress and singer Pia Zadora (Butterfly, Hairspray) in what might be the wildest and wackiest role of her career, James Fargo’s (Every Which Way But Loose) VOYAGE OF THE ROCK ALIENS is a nearly unclassifiable smorgasbord made up of one part rock musical, one part sci-fi insanity, and one part 50s kitsch through an 80s glam lens. Never given an authorized disc release in the US, Vinegar Syndrome presents this seminal slice of premium cable nostalgia in its ultimate home video edition, featuring a gorgeous and brand new 2K restoration and jam packed with comprehensive and newly produced extras.

Reviews
Rock, Roll, Aliens. . . and Absolute '80s Insanity
"Voyage of the Rock Aliens is an unapologetically bonkers mashup of glam rock, sci-fi, teen comedy, and musical mayhem that somehow works through sheer commitment to its outrageous premise. Pia Zadora, Michael Berryman, catchy songs, and nonstop camp make this a joyful slice of premium cable nostalgia. Vinegar Syndrome's gorgeous restoration and extensive extras finally give this gloriously weird cult classic the first-rate release it's always deserved."

Rock on
"As much as musicals aren't my particular cup of tea, I found myself unable to turn this off. The songs are simple and dorky but catchy, and it's quintessentially 80's. Plus, Michael Berryman gets to run around with a chainsaw, that's worth something."
— Tyler M. (4/5)
So Weird, So Fun
"It looks and sounds great. The story is super simple but this movie is such an oddity and it was a blast to watch. Great party movie."

Voyage of the Rock Aliens
"A brilliant blind buy, really enjoyed this one. It felt like a cross between Grease and Flash Gordon, with a little extra cheese on top. It is campy and cheesy, but that really does work in it's favour. Some great performances in various roles, made this very easy viewing. There are also a couple of good making of/interviews in the extras, well worth a watch, plus the cover artwork looks great."
