This movie was a ton

A group of six scientists have assembled to test the apparent abundance of supernatural goings-on at the secluded Headstone Manor. No sooner have they set up all of their ghost-catching gadgetry than the hauntings begin: from randy spirits to unexplained manifestations, all the signs of the afterlife incarnate are present. But when members of their party start winding up deceased, it becomes clear that these undead souls aren’t very friendly, and all the while the foggy grounds of the manor are being traversed by another mysterious figure...
A riotous British send-up of the fad of paranormal investigation and haunted house films, Ray Cameron’s BLOODBATH AT THE HOUSE OF DEATH mixes supernatural thrills with a hearty sense of risqué humor. Boasting the only feature film performance from famed British comedian Kenny Everett and co-starring the legendary Vincent Price (Theatre of Blood), along with Pamela Stephenson (Superman III), Gareth Hunt (TV's Doctor Who), and John Fortune (Match Point), Vinegar Syndrome brings this delightfully spooky horror-comedy to Blu-ray, newly restored in 4K from its 35mm camera negative.

"This movie was a ton of fun. Great British humor throughout. I highly recommend going in blind. Cover art is phenomenal as usual."
"A decent Horror spoof that made me laugh enough times to enjoy it. Some might find this movie not so funny, but it depends of your sense of humor. Its overall classic British styled humor. Worth a watch before buying."
"A silly take on the old dark house trope that happens to have one of the leading men from era of the old dark house movies being everywhere. Vincent is great in this (when isn't he?) the jokes almost all land and it looks great. Glad I bought this one."
"Vincent price is entertaining"
"Bloodbath at the House of Death (1984) is a chaotic, "seaside postcard" style spoof that delivers a hit-and-miss experience, anchored by a magnificent performance from Vincent Price. While the film attempts to parody 80s horror with relentless, cartoonish humor and surprisingly inventive gore, the low-budget script often relies on dated gags that feel exhausting rather than funny."
"Synopsis: In 1975 at Headstone Manor a group of 18 businessmen, and summer camp girls, are mystically slaughtered by a group of satanic monks. Present day (1983) a bunch of scientists are sent to investigate radioactive readings emanating from the house and unknowingly walk into another BLOODBATH AT THE HOUSE OF DEATH. Review: I mean death by can opener was pretty cool, as was the globe depicting the events of the opening sequence bloodbath, but this only had a few light chuckles and a hammy performance from a Vincent Price that must have needed money for some art or something. The opening and closing do the trick however this is mostly a dud. Carnage Count 2/5 Sleaze Score 2/5"
"Fantastic release from Vinegar Syndrome. How can you go wrong when you have a movie with Vincent Price? The restoration is beautiful. The artwork on the slip cover is amazing. But this is no parody. This is a great film. I’m glad I got this when I did. Do not sleep on this release. It is pure art."
"Packaging is beautiful. Not exactly what I expected, but it's pretty funny and worth a watch for fans of Vincent Price or dry comedy in the vain of Monty Python or Young Frankenstein"
"How did I miss this one as a kid born in '84?! THANK YOU SO MUCH VinSyn for releasing this awesome flick with such a beautiful new 4K transfer! The art on the slipcover alone is worth the (Vincent) price! If you want a great lil 80's horror movie slasher like the good 'ole days (or friday nights) that goes perfect with a cheese pizza or popcorn or beer or. . . whateverrr. . . look no further! "BLOODBATH AT THE HOUSE OF DEATH" delivers exactly what is promised! A body count and unique kills all helmed by the OG master himself. . . Vincent Price!"
"TBH, I only snagged this because I adore Vinnie P and this title was on sale."
