This listing is for the standard edition Blu-ray/DVD combo. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Earl Kessler Jr.) was limited to 2,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

Shy American college coed, Beverly Putnic, has been invited to go on a class trip to a remote part of Yugoslavia to witness and take part in an ancient cultural rite. But what Beverly doesn't know is that she's actually being lured to Europe in order to be made the bride of Satan! Narrowly escaping from the clutches of a witch, Beverly and her classmates take refuge on a train. Unfortunately, black magic meets them at every turn as the train becomes possessed and begins offing them one by one.

From the truly unhinged mind's of maverick exploitation producer Ovidio Assonitis (Beyond the Door, The Visitor) and writer-director Jeff Kwitny (Iced), BEYOND THE DOOR 3 (originally known as AMOK TRAIN) is an exploitation roller-coaster that never stops one-upping its own insanity. Chock full of completely outrageous gore effects, bizarre and often surreal plot twists, and a wholly whacked out ending, Vinegar Syndrome is elated to present the world Blu-ray debut of this notorious slice of Euro-horror in a brand new 4K restoration of its original negative.

Reviews

But then again this film has a great atmosphere! Like frol those good ol‘ video rental store times! When you went by the cover and got …surprised!! hahaha"

"So mutch fun in this crazy sequel that lives in its own world! Skip the 2 first and go right on this one ! It is kind of a gorey 90es version of midsummer ! Great picture and sound and nice interesting extras 👍😁"

Cheese and Sleaze galore. . . Not much else though.

"Synopsis: A group of American students, including Beverly with a weird birthmark on her torso, head to Yugoslavia for a class trip. While there, Professor Andromolek explained that they are in town just in time to witness a ritual that is performed every 100 years. They end up being held captive in a haunted village but escape only to board a mysterious train while evil forces pick them off one by one. Review: Wowzers, do I love the cheese and sleaze in this sucker. So many amazing scenes of gratuitous violence that make this an enjoyable piece of poop. My brain tells me this is not a good movie but my heart says watch it on repeat for the next 10 years. The story is a mess, the acting terrible, this defies all film physics but wow. Carnage Count 3/5 Sleaze Score 2/5"

Beyond the Door III

"Absolutely nothing to do with the original “Beyond the Door”, but a fun enough supernatural horror titled to cash in on the 70’s film’s success. Really fun if you’re into low budget schlocky horror"

Ben S. (5/5)

A wild ride

"Wild ride. Don't expect it to make too much sense, but it's a visual feast and very inventive."

Jeppe M. (4/5)

Beyond the Door III is a trip!!

"This is a pretty good and gory flick with lots of crazyness happening during it. You'll be in for a trip in a train full of terrors. Also, the Vinegar Syndrome transfer is off the charts. Awesome flick!!"

GILBERTO C. (5/5)

Amok Train! So damn cool it’s practically false advertising!

"I viewed this film on the Beyond the Door III Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray Limited Edition physical media release and it is the same great premium level of packaging and presentation that you’ve come to expect from the generic releases of this boutique label. No other brand beats Vinegar Syndrome at the cardboard game and this great slipcover is no exception to the consistently fantastic artwork and component quality this company produces. For my full detailed review of Amok Train, see my entry on Letterboxd: @M4N14K"

Beyond the Door 3

"A bizarre and extremely fun Italian horror. I would have never imagined that watching a possessed train can be so much fun."

Christopher B. (5/5)

There are some incredible scenes

"There are some incredible scenes in this movie. The runaway train is amazingly done throughout the film. There are elements that make it better than the first two films for me. It looks very good on my Blu-ray player and 4k tv."

Bradley T. (5/5)

Beyond the Door 3 is nuts

"One of the crazier films added to my collection, slept on this for 4 or so years on VS site. . . . finally pulled the trigger this Black Friday sale. It's one of those batshit crazy flicks that will surprise you, bluray transfer looks great."
