Classic Locally Filmed Slasher!

"'She Came From the Woods' is a true love letter to 80's cult classics and fan favorite horror films. The movie brings back fond memories of Camp slashers like Friday the 13th and The Burning. Although shipping is usually a great option, I was able to purchase my copy at The Archive storefront in Bridgeport, CT. I have a deeper appreciation for the film because I personally know the film's creators and it was made in my home state of Connecticut."

Good film

"The restoration is great for blu ray, the movie is good"

Missael L. (5/5)

Killer throwback camp slasher!

"She came from the woods is a cool newer camp slasher that completely went under my radar, but I’m happy that I found it through ETR media’s new release. These partner labels have been a great way to discover those types of overlooked movies. The transfer and audio on this release are top notch. This movie is a fun ride!"

Michael B. (5/5)

Homage to 80s slashers

"Love camp slashers and this has that 80s vibe . Some cool kills and a fun time. Nit pick is that despite some time spent on the characters I didn’t care what happened to any of them but didn’t hurt my enjoyment of the movie. Good transfer and fun practical effects."

Bruce K. (4/5)

Top notch 80's horror tribute

"Better than most of these kinds of movies. The 80's setting and inspirations work great but they don't feel belabored. Manages to walk the line of tribute but still feel unique. Comedy works as well as the horror. You get to root for and against several characters. Feels more developed than a lot of slasher adjacent films. William Sadler is always good. Largely unfamiliar with the rest of the cast, but great all around. Highly recommended."

Ed K. (5/5)

Franchise potential

"Such a fun comedy horror with one of the actresses from stranger things. I was shocked by who survived and who died but I could easily see this becoming a franchise"

Michael P. (5/5)

What a fun campy 80s

"What a fun campy 80s slasher homage. Love it and it looks like all the effects were practical instead of CGI. Fantastic package all around with a beautiful transfer and a ton of extras. Always love seeing William Sandler in anything really."

Bryan K. (5/5)

Fun and Campy

"She Came from the Woods is a fun flick that leans hard into campy summer-camp slasher vibes without taking itself too seriously. It knows exactly what it is, moves fast, and delivers just enough blood and humor to make it an easy, crowd-pleasing watch."

Shane P. (5/5)

She came from the woods

"Fun little throwback to the 80s summer camp flicks with a supernatural twist to it great gore and special effects"

Hunter D. (4/5)

Old School

"I'm always a bit dubious about movies which try to copy that 80s style, but this one actually does it quite well and doesn't focus on it too much. Some of the subplots don't make much sense and I'm not even sure everything gets fully resolved really, but it's a fairly watchable film. Generally very well acted and also visually impressive, featuring some great practical effects. Recommended to fans of older campfire horror movies."
