"Excellent score to the Mitchell Brothers' ground breaking first feature. Comes in a quality digipack, this release seems to have been taken from the film audio track. (Any correction appreciated) I would have liked a little annotation if there's any info about composer Daniel Le Blanc or the recording of this, but the overall a nice addition to my collection of film scores."

"What I remember from the movie and what’s presented on the soundtrack, I find, are two different experiences. My recollection is that the movie score was electronic and weird — and that’s almost true in the track Cum To Me Neil Murphy — however, most of the soundtrack is guitar, bass, violin and piano compositions. I’m still trying to reconcile this disparity. The sound is crystal clear though the digipak is somewhat lacking (I prefer jewel cases) even if the artwork by Rob Sammelin is superb and it is more ecologically minded."
"I haven't seen Behind the Green Door, and I bought this soundtrack on a whim, as I have a CD player in my car and figured it was the only CD on the VS site, so why not? The first track has a crazy hum in it but after that, there are some nice segments and some boring ones. Like I said, it's probably better within the movie itself, and I'd only really suggest this CD to those big fans of the movie."

"Just to mention right off the bat, if you're interested in buying the movie too, the CD is included with that package available at Melusine. I bought mine to have as a collectible. CDs are one of the few things that have actually gotten cheaper over the last 30 years so it was worth the money to me. I have always been a big collector of soundtracks and have never seen one for an adult film before. An interesting sound with some funky and some odd tracks. Worth picking up if you aren't buying the movie too and for those who collect."
