"This was honestly a lot better than I was expecting. Not overly art-y, but also not typical exploitation stuff. It was also interesting to watch the alternate French cut of the film, which re-orders a lot of the film, adding a little more skin, but losing some of the story."
"I went into this mostly expecting a curiosity, but it turned out to be a much more interesting watch than that. Anita has that very distinct 70s feel, and while it is definitely provocative, it also has more emotional weight and seriousness than I expected. Not for every mood, but definitely a memorable and worthwhile film to have in a strong edition."
"Item arrived in excellent condition with Debbie Does Dallas blu ray with sleeve protectors. Hard to believe Stellan Skarsgard is in it while today’s Hollywood performers may be unaware."

"This is imperfect, but one of my favorite Christina Lindberg Swedish Sin films. It's a lot more grounded and depressing than you might expect, actually attempting a semi-serious study of a nymphomaniac (for the exploitation genre) and with a great, low-key central performance by Christina. A young Stellan Skarsgaard is a nice plus, too! Where this really shines is the special features - a great job by Klubb Super 8. There's a solid new transfer (natch), a couple nice interview supplements, several very thorough galleries (of ad material and Christina magazine spreads), a fantastic commentary by the label founder and a guy who wrote an entire thesis on ANITA, and the unseen French version titled LES IMPURES that's radically different and more explicit. The film may not be perfect, but it's an interesting one, and Klubb Super 8 shows it a great deal of love and respect in this fantastic release."
