"Odd and clever, anchored with a strong supporting appearance by Lily Gladstone. Bonus points for including Alex Cox in the cast."
"shrodingers cowboy?"
"Enjoyed it!"
"Fun treatment of a time traveling Western. Loads of different forms of great visuals including rotoscoping. Very unique and entertaining release. Comes with a handful of extras and nifty packaging, including the sleeve and slipcover."
"This was a complete blind buys, but I’m glad I bought it. The visuals are really good and the film is just good in so many aspects. Also as always the slipcover is top notch."
"A fascinating and surreal movie. You aren't going to find too many like this. It's certainly not a great film, as I found myself losing interest every now again. But it's a fun experiment in "mixed media" and the strength of Gladstone should be enough to give this one a watch."
"Trippy"
"Quantum Cowboys is a mind-bending, psychedelic Western that fuses live-action and a dizzying array of animation styles into a cosmic fever dream. Directed by Geoff Marslett, it follows two drifters, Frank (Kiowa Gordon) and Bruno (John Way), who team up with the fierce Linde (Lily Gladstone) to track down a mysterious musician across the multiverse of 1870s Arizona. The film’s ambitious blend of quantum theory, surreal visuals, and stoner humor is both dazzling and disorienting, with Gladstone’s magnetic presence grounding the chaos. It’s a trippy, art-house ride—wildly original, if not always coherent—that’ll leave you pondering time, space, and whether you missed the peyote memo."
"So cool!,"
