        I'm becoming a Ferrin fan

"Somehow Darkstar Pictures has lured me into the Ferrinverse. To be fair, it started with UNSPEAKABLE (from Troma, of course!), but NIGHT CALLER tipped me over. PIG KILLER is not my fave of what I've seen, but it ticks plenty of boxes. Oddball Rob-Zombieland trash, excessive dirt, Bai Ling & a sense of nastiness to go with the gore keep me happy. At least with Ferrin's recipe. The long running time is enough to put some off, but fans of Zombie's movies should take note if they haven't already discovered this chunk of trash-horror."

"A stylized version of the Story of Canadian Serial Killer Robert Pickton that is both intense & disgusting but also Entertaining & surreal."

        Canadian horror

"Directed by Chad Ferrin and starring Jake Busey as Pickton, Pig Killer dives headfirst into the grotesque reality of one of Canada’s most notorious murderers. The film portrays Pickton’s reign of terror from the 1980s to his arrest in 2002, focusing on his pig farm as the setting for unspeakable acts of violence. With scenes of rape, torture, and dismemberment, the movie leans heavily into exploitation horror, often pushing the boundaries of taste"
