"This excellent film utilizes a lot of quiet space, it’s a restless quiet - it moves slow and steady, but it keeps on moving all through. It features a silvertone color palette that is wonderfully effective in conveying its overall mood and tone. Its approach to racial inequality profiling is strongly subtle, it presents the tale and lets the tale finish up in between the lines. Simon Baker is exceptional, I didn’t recognize him from previous roles, brilliant performance. The extras feature several interviews, all engaging and informative. The package includes a booklet with wonderful photos and a very good essay. The slipcover looks really good on the shelf and the insert features nice interior artwork."
