Killer tick flick!!
"Ticks is a solid splatter fest, animal attacks movie, that I’m happy to finally own on physical media. The transfer on this disc looks amazing. It is a must own for fans of gross out creature features."

An assortment of unruly and misfit teens have all been forced to attend camp at a wildlife preserve, to commune with nature. What they don't realize is that nearby in the woods, an illicit marijuana growing operation is underway and the weed farmers have been using a pesticide which has had one very unintended side effect: turning ordinary ticks into giant, ravenous bloodsuckers...
One of the quintessential creature features of the early 90s, Tony Randel's (Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Amityville: It's About Time) TICKS pays loving tribute to 1950s giant monster movies, updating the formula by adding copious amounts of slime and heavily increased bloodshed. Starring Seth Green (Austin Powers), Alfonso Ribeiro (TV's Fresh Prince of Bel Air), Rosalind Allen (TV's Seinfeld) and a very memorable appearance from Clint Howard (Ice Cream Man), Vinegar Syndrome brings TICKS to 4K UHD for the very first time in a never-before-seen extended version, featuring comprehensive interviews and commentaries with the film's key creators including producer Brian Yuzna (Society) and TICKS creator and effects supervisor, Doug Beswick (Aliens, The Terminator).

"Me and the missus watched this last night, and it didn't disappoint. Great gore and makeup effects! Some surprises and a lot of fun - the movie never overstayed its welcome and moved along at a really quick clip."
"Imagine the '50s monster movie tropes reimagined for the '90s streetwise kids and you get this, an effects-laden film where the little critters get contaminated and grow to more than giant size. Clint Howard gets it but the showstopping moment is to see Alfonso Ribeiro, some time before he appeared in one of the most well known sitcoms of the '90s, REALLY get it. I always had a DVD and thought that one was uncut but here VS release a 4K of a longer version (though no extra gore, as far as I can see). Extras are plentiful too."
"Ticks was a big surprise for me, what a fun ride this was. The 4k transfer is perfect and the extras are pretty awesome. If you didn't buy it yet, go ahead and do this!!"
"A staple of 90's Cinemax gets the deluxe treatment. Fun, gross creature feature with some recognizable faces from the era. Great transfer and fun movie!"
"Fun movie. We used to watch this alot glad to have it on 4k!"
"Ticks is a great creature feature, with slimy and creepy practical effects. The 4K presentation looks amazing and the blu-ray disk has extras that go in depth on the movie."
"Some people can't get past Alfonso (Carlton) Ribeiro cast as a tough dangerous punk, but those folks are missing out! No one is taking this film too seriously, but they are all playing their roles with just enough heightened seriousness to carry the fun! The creature effects are great, and the movie is never slow or dull."
"Nice!"
"Nostalgia with the 90s in this classic bug creature feature love this movie and it is so much fun"
