Reviews

Like a live action Looney Tunes

"This film is like a low budget live action Looney Tunes movie. Said like that it may sound negative, but this movie is much more entertaining than this brief description could let you believe. There is a lot of ingenuity in this film, and there is hardly any down moment in all its running time. For such a low budget production, this is a great achievement. This is truly a hidden treasure that will enrich everyone’s collection. I highly recommend it."

Hundreds of Beavers

"Loved this movie! The style, humor, storytelling, and cinematography, all make this movie very unique and charming. Definitely something that stands out from other movies and delivers such a great time. If you enjoy Looney Tunes, this movie is for you. My only caveat is that it's a bit too long for one sitting, so I recommend having an intermission somewhere in the middle to best enjoy it."

Mario S. (5/5)

Biggest surprise of the year!

"Wow! Just wow! I missed out on the first slipcover, but managed to grab this one instead. This movie is by far one of the biggest surprises of last year! Very unique in every way and element. I can highly recommend this one to every single mocie collector"

100 out of 100 Beavers

"Hundreds of Beavers blu-ray is high quality. Love the comedy book it came with. Looking forward to watching the extras disk with hours of extras. I was impressed by the strong shipping box compared to envelopes other sellers use."

Wesley M. (5/5)

Hilarious Silent Slapstick

"Some of the most creative comedic gags I've seen in ages, overflowing with excellent visual humor and a wonderful style, the low-budget of this thing doesn't show for a second. A genuine comedic masterpiece. The extras on here are also incredible, this has to be one of my favorite releases I own period."

Tony H. (5/5)

A Wonderful Release of a Wonderful Movie

"The film itself became an instant all-time favorite film for me upon my first viewing. So being able to own it on physical media at all is a gift, but having this quality of a release is even better. Packaging and artwork look great, both with the case artwork and the bonus booklet inside. Of course the film looks great on Blu-Ray, and not only does it have some fun special features, but you can actually watch the entire film in multi-panel view in synch with the BTS footage of how they achieved each shot. That’s insane. I’ve never seen that with any other release of a film. Really the ultimate film school. This is a must own."

Loving Homage to Looney Tunes, Silent Slapstick

"Hundreds of Beavers! A loving homage to loony tunes, silent slapstick, and romance. Wow! What fun! While I found Lake Michigan Monster extremely creative, it wasn't a film I wanted to dive back into so soon, but with this one, I'm in love, a total classic now for me. A+ release, all around! The new variant slipcover is fantastic, too! 10/10"

Hundreds Of Beavers

"Hundreds of Beavers is one of the most inventive comedies in years, blending silent-film slapstick, Looney Tunes-style absurdity, and DIY filmmaking into something that feels completely original. Directed by Mike Cheslik and starring Ryland Brickson Cole Tews, the film follows a down-on-his-luck applejack salesman battling an army of costumed woodland creatures in a frozen wilderness, escalating into increasingly ridiculous survival antics. Despite its microbudget aesthetic, the movie’s visual creativity and relentless physical comedy make every scene feel meticulously crafted, with jokes firing at an almost exhausting pace. Beneath the chaos is an oddly clever progression that turns the film into a live-action cartoon video game, rewarding viewers who embrace its commitment to pure silliness. It’s bizarre, ambitious, and genuinely hilarious—a cult classic in the making"

Neal L. (5/5)

Wonderfully absurd movie

"One of the funniest movies I've seen in years. I shared it with a friend and she was laughing almost the entire movie. It's just non-stop silliness. Real live-action-looney-tunes type of humor. It's absolutely great."

Mark M. (5/5)

So funny

"An incredible live-action cartoon that captures the addictive 'item-unlock' loop of a classic Zelda adventure."
