Ubeimar Rios gives the kind of lead performance that feels lived-in rather than polished, which fits the film perfectly. It has that uncomfortable comic rhythm where you laugh and then immediately feel bad for laughing. The Medellín setting and the literary burnout angle give it a very specific flavor, far from the usual boutique-label comfort zone. Really glad this one got a proper Blu-ray release."
