2025 has so-far offered a non-stop assortment of twisted treats, from a trio of 70s Spanish Horror films including CURSE OF THE DEVIL, Hong Kong shockers like DEVIL FETUS and HER VENGEANCE, more FORGOTTEN GIALLI, 4K UHD debuts of genre classics such as DERANGED, LET’S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH, and MURDEROCK, dazzling 4K restorations of films as diverse as William Friedkin’s JADE and the BRIMSTONE & TREACLE, of course the original “Dirtier Cut” of DIRTY WORK which is finally seeing the light of day after nearly 30 years!

If you’re still catching your breath from the first half of 2025, we can’t wait to share everything else this year has in store, starting with July’s triple dose: Dario Argento’s final theatrically released giallo, THE CARD PLAYER, at last comes to 4K UHD in its ultimate and extras packed home video edition, featuring a brand new, VS created restoration. Then, from cult favorite Katt Shea comes THE RAGE: CARRIE 2; a wild sequel to the 70s classic which features one of the most blood-soaked finales to come out of 90s Hollywood, and has been exclusively restored by VS from its original negative for its stunning 4K UHD debut. And finally, continuing our tradition of giant monsters in 4K, we’re delighted to bring the beloved South Korean Kaiju, director Kim-Ki Duk’s YONGARY, to UHD, exquisitely restored (including a reconstruction of its American theatrical opening credits), packed with informative extras, and featuring the surviving fragments of its original Korean language version!

In August, look forward to the Troma classic SGT. KABUKIMAN N.Y.P.D. on 4K UHD, newly restored from its original negative and presented in both its R and PG-13 versions. Plus, a 4K UHD double feature of two films by acclaimed indie-cult director Larry Fessenden, along with the authorized disc debut of a late 80s supernatural horror with a very memorable creature.

September will offer a non (?) giallo 70s Italian horror box set, another double feature of Larry Fessenden horror films on 4K UHD, plus the 4K UHD debut of a beloved early 90s body horror gem.

Then, in October, we’re going closer to the edge with another 4K UHD debut of an Argento giallo, the 4K UHD debut (and exclusive new restoration looking miles better than any home video release in this film’s history) of a 70s horror classic, a 4K UHD debut of another landmark film from Troma, and finally our very first Hammer horror masterpiece, with THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH on 4K UHD, presented with both its legendary nude sequences and extra violent original ending fully intact!
