"“Is that a fact? He talked the same as everyone else. ” This movie is an early 80s slasher that feels familiar all while doing its own thing. This movie has its own version of a sleeping bag kill. The killer sets up bodies waiting to scare other victims like some of the more popular killers have been known to do. It starts out with POV kills and eventually switches to seeing the killer in action. Our killer uses a variety of weapons including a machete to leave a bloody trial in these woods. There are moments I’m not sure how intentional the comedy should or shouldn’t be. The music score is interesting at times and at other times is possibly a detriment. The film probably looks as good as it can, and I’ve seen worse, but I’ve definitely seen better."
