• For the first time ever, we are limiting the number of Subscription sign-ups to 2,000 Subscribers. We've been averaging roughly 2,000 Subscribers per year and have determined that this number is the sweet spot for Vinegar Syndrome and our distributor, OCN Distribution.
• Important notice to 2025 Subscribers who are planning to renew: All 2025 Subscribers are guaranteed a slot in 2026, if you wish to renew, even if we hit 2,000 before you purchase your renewal.

2025 is now behind us, but its memory lives on. We indulged in our most Hong Kong-horror-heavy lineup yet, with exquisite new restorations of squirm-inducing shockers like DEVIL FETUS and HELL HAS NO BOUNDARY, and wild and wacky treasures like THE SEVENTH CURSE and SEX BEYOND THE GRAVE, plus grim and gruesome thrillers like HER VENGEANCE. We also presented a trio of Dario Argento 4K UHD debuts including SLEEPLESS and THE STENDHAL SYNDROME, as well as Euro-horror gems like CURSE OF THE DEVIL and more FORGOTTEN GIALLI, BLOODSTAINED ITALY, and TROLL 2—and the uncensored version of the Hammer classic THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH. And...the pièce de résistance, DIRTY WORK: THE DIRTIER CUT, meticulously restored on 4K UHD.

Well, 2026 blows 2025 out of the water. How is that possible, you might ask? Just wait and see… We're starting the year with a devilishly delectable January, including our latest installment in the celebrated MADE IN HONG KONG series, this time collecting a trio of non-stop action hits, all newly and exclusively restored by VS: NEW YORK CHINATOWN MASSACRE (1982) in its original widescreen aspect ratio for the first time on disc, FINAL JUSTICE (1988) starring Sean Lau, and director Herman Yao's kung fu-infused rarity BEST OF THE BEST (1996). But that's not all… Get Tromatized with Lloyd Kaufman's ultimate meta-bloodbath, TERROR FIRMER (1998) on 4K UHD, newly and exclusively restored and loaded with hours of new and archival extras. And finally, from the maestro himself, Dario Argento's insanely gory adaptation of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (1999) starring the late, great Julian Sands hits 4K UHD, exclusively restored by VS and jam packed with extras.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. February will yield the disc debut of what is easily amongst the craziest 80s horror movies, period, with DEMONWARP on 4K UHD+BD for the first time, while March will unveil our next FORGOTTEN GIALLI (including a crazy rarity from Bruno Mattei), and April will offer the stunningly beautiful LADY IN WHITE on 4K UHD in all three of its released versions, along with the first in a series of Italian gore classics all making both their 4K UHD and BD debuts.
