"I was surprised on how much I liked this movie. The story drew me in and held my attention through out. The transfer was awesome. The special features were good. This was a blind buy for me. You should take a chance like I did and give this one a go. I wasn’t disappointed and I don’t expect you to be either. I wish I had known about this film sooner. "Last Gasp seems to be one of those VS titles that was permanently in stock, which surprises me because I actually think it is quite good. It has a strange supernatural angle, a suitably sleazy 90s feel, and Robert Patrick gives it far more presence than you might expect from something this obscure. It is certainly not some forgotten masterpiece, but I found it entertaining and much more interesting than its apparent lack of popularity would suggest. With so many VS releases disappearing almost immediately, it is funny that this one just keeps hanging around. I think it deserves a little more love."

While not bad, there could have been a little bit more story development in some scenes rather than some of the visuals. Having grown up on X-files, it's weird to see Doggett (Patrick) as a villain. But I guess Terminator fans are used to it. Nice packaging and double sided cover (the one side evokes Hannibal Lector vibes to me). Overall a nice release from Vinegar Syndrome."
