Presented in partnership with Something Weird Video...

The American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) represents the world's largest theatrical catalog of exploitation cinema. Their home video line presents a diverse selection of movies, ranging from new preservations of classics from the vast library of Something Weird to the wildest in shot-on-video (SOV) titles. Vinegar Syndrome’s sister company, OCN Distribution, is thrilled to be representing this diverse and unique home video line!

In the 1990s, Something Weird Video gifted humankind with HEY FOLKS! IT'S INTERMISSION TIME—a series of six magical VHS compilations that preserved vintage movie and drive-in ads. HEY FOLKS! IT'S THE INTERMISSION TIME VIDEO PARTY is a loving tribute to those cathode-tube-fueled days. Featuring HEY FOLKS! IT'S THE INTERMISSION TIME MIXTAPE! (an exclusive feature-length mixtape from the AGFA team) as well as all six volumes of the original, uncut Something Weird VHS releases from the 1990s, this 2-disc collection serves as a mind-altering time machine to a beloved era in home video history.

    The ultimate watch party experience!

"This piece of Entertainment is an oddity in publicity madbess and a reminder that you can always go deeper in the trailer-adds-bizarre compilations. With almost 12 hours of content this edition gives US enough material for a very long party, highly recommended!"

    Carlos R. (5/5)

    Bathroom break theater

"Another fun compilation of random videos by AGFA. This time around its theater, drive-in and other such intermission sequences. Had a fun time watching these and the special features were again grade A in showing folks how invested the team is in there craft of finding this stuff."

    Cody B. (4/5)

"I bought this as a gift for someone about a year or two ago. I finally checked out my friends copy and I knew I had to get it for myself as well. Any movie lover will get a nostalgic feeling from these great old time movie promos. My favorite advertisement has to be the hot dog, soda and popcorn singing “Let’s all go to the lobby. ”"

    Craig (5/5)

    Popcorn please

"delivers a strange, nostalgic ride that any AFGA lover can appreciate"

    Kevin G. (5/5)

    Intermission Time!

"I love having something to throw on the TV at parties that people can be entertained by without having to fully pay attention or be worried about leaving the room. This is the best reminder that you can have something pleasurable on the TV without it being too distracting or ruining the vibe. Truly a pleasure to have this in my collection!"

    Richie O. (5/5)

    Movie history in a capsule

"Crazy value for this AFGA compilation, I hope they keep releasing this kind of movie time capsule. 718 min of cozy and pleasure watching experience!"

    CHAN T. (5/5)

Let’s All Go To The Lobby (And Then Go Insane)

"Better than ELF, A CHRISTMAS STORY and IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE combined. When it’s time to host a holiday gathering, do away with the Grinch and Charlie Brown and slap this on. AFGA knows how to cull a collection and this parade of movie interstitial goodness knocked out my Christmas party. . . of one."

    J A. (5/5)

Hey Folks! It's the Intermission Time Video Party!

"Wonderful to see this released on AGFA. Such an odd collection of material."

    Snack bar is open

"Love it! Played this for my 18 yr old son and he said this was a cool look at the past. This might not be something I watch a lot but if I am in a mood for a flashback to the good ole days this will be my go to!"

    Louie A. (5/5)

    All time favourite

"So much stuff on here. A whole lotta fun"
