DIY perfection
"The main flick and sequel, in their directors cuts particularly are a lot of fun and quite inspiring. Nice transfer and packed release"
This special limited edition embossed and spot gloss slipcover is limited to 3,000 units and is only available here at VinegarSyndrome.com!
The American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) represents the world's largest theatrical catalog of exploitation cinema. Their home video line presents a diverse selection of movies, ranging from new preservations of classics from the vast library of Something Weird to the wildest in shot-on-video (SOV) titles. Vinegar Syndrome’s sister company, OCN Distribution, is thrilled to be representing this diverse and unique home video line!
Exploding out of the German horror underground, F*CK THE DEVIL (1990) + F*CK THE DEVIL 2: RETURN OF THE F*CKER (1991) are cinematic equivalents of DIY comic books that were made by a teenage stoner while experimenting with bootleg acid. And there's nothing else like them. The films tell the story of The F*cker—a phantasmagorical death machine who materializes from haunted VHS tapes of EVIL DEAD 2 and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET to wreak havoc on unsuspecting parents, teens, and babies. Fueled by subversive violence, experimental techniques, and an unconditional love for the horror genre, these Casiocore-driven miracles teleport us into a dream-like panic state where Rambo posters, 8-bit sound barfs, and Nightmare Feddys rule our subconsciousness. AGFA + Bleeding Skull! are overjoyed to welcome The F*cker to home video for the first time ever—complete with new 2022 director's cuts, the original cuts, and a f*ck-ton of extras.

"These are short enough to be enjoyable. Would be rukned of anynlonger"
"Nice to see these after having read about them in the Bleeding Skull book. That being said they are a little bit on the more boring side even with the brief running times."
"Low budget effects horrors, I'm just starting to experience and this one looked immediately appealing. I was happy to get a unique edition of these wacky movies and I look forward to finding many more like this!"
"FTD 1: A fun SOV love letter to 80s horror. Good DIY gore effects. Has that extreme German horror thing going on, so it may not be to everyone’s taste but it had won me over during its short runtime. FTD 2: We may not have gotten Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, but we did get Evil Dead vs Freddy in this German short! Much more fun than the first one. Amps up the gags and goes bugger with the carnage. Benefits from introducing a final girl and some rules."
"If you ever tried to make a low budget splatter film with your friends in your youth then these films will definitely bring a goofy smile to your face. So much fun and impressively well done in an inept, charming kind of way."
"Weird films but worth the watch"
"Best available presentation of a double feature of short films with both following a masked killer like a homage to modern horror classics such as evil dead. Fun flick in a nice package that comes with a handful of extras."
"This is a delirious plunge into ultra-DIY, black-metal-infused horror, stitched together from raw, grainy-shot footage that feels like a cursed tape dug out of some forgotten occult basement. The primitive but wildly committed practical effects give both films their off-the-rails personality, turning low-budget limitations into gnarly, handmade spectacle that fits the blasphemous, underground vibe perfectly. The on-screen lettering and graphic overlays—titles, sigils, and scrawled text—add to the anarchic aesthetic, making the whole experience feel like a mix of zine culture, tape-trading ephemera, and unhinged found footage. As a Blu-ray package, it’s a killer treat for fans of outsider horror, offering sharp enough presentation to showcase the chaos while still preserving every flicker of grind and grime."
"Definitely a fun film to watch. It’s weird and quirky but when you have friends over and want to have a laugh this movie is for you! Vinegar syndrome always comes through with shipping! Came in amazing condition and it only took like 3 days"
