"Troma's Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD gets the royal treatment with this 4k release featuring 3 cuts of the film and a monkey riding a jaguar's worth of special features. The 4k transfer is crisp and the packaging features cool new kabuki/clown artwork and of course the original art on the reverse side of the sleeve. I wasn't crazy about the yellow slip on the more expensive version, so I got the standard edition."
"This was completely wild. The superhero motif was great despite the fact that the hero here is more like a bumbling fool. The transfer looks beautiful and I was happy to pick it up in person at the Pittsburgh location instead of waiting for shipping from the website. The crew couldn't stop laughing with this one. "Before seeing Sgt Kabukiman, my favorit Troma film was The Toxic Avenger, but this one passed and I don't even know why hahahaha. "A Troma icon almost to the height of the toxic avenger. Definitely a great concept, lagged a bit in the back third though compared to the constant chuckles I had in the beginning and middle. Obviously being Troma, the performances and production aren’t great, but they embrace it as always. Fun film Great deluxe hardbox packaging"

As per usual with VS beautiful transfer the artwork on the slip case/cover looks incredible great on the shelf. This movie is a goofy feel good time. If you’re on the fence about this i highly recommend you pull the trigger."
