This special Limited Edition Deluxe VHS Light Case (artwork by JJ Harrison) comes with a Custom Molded Clear Shell VHS. It was limited to just 300 units and is sold out. It is only available on our website and at select indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them. Important note: depending on the sales, we may choose to re-release this deluxe VHS package in the distant future (most likely not, but you never know!).

Degausser Video is a brand new label created by several of the devious minds behind VS, which will bring to Blu-ray and tape deluxe editions of both canonical and under-seen shot on video (SOV) genre cinema, in addition to work shot on film, but edited on tape, wherein the original film materials are believed to be lost or destroyed. Similar to Vinegar Syndrome's focus on FILM preservation, Degausser will work only from original analogue tape materials with an emphasis on maintaining the aesthetics inherent to each respective video format. Additionally, each title released by Degausser will be made available in an ultra limited "new" VHS edition, fitted in a custom designed hard shell light box.

A beloved regional horror vortex that was conjured in Connecticut, ATTACK OF THE BEAST CREATURES is a triumph of low budget ingenuity. In an unknown galaxy, a group of travelers crash their boat on an island. At first, all is well. But when a man takes a dip in an acid lake and becomes a steaming pile of gloop, it's clear that there's trouble in paradise. That's when the cult of demon dolls reveal themselves . . . and their appetite for eating faces. Fueled by outrageous gore, a sublime synthesizer score, and jaw-dropping puppet effects, this is what happens when a mid-century creature feature collides with DIY surrealism and everyone wins. AGFA is honored to present ATTACK OF THE BEAST CREATURES—originally known as HELL ISLAND—featuring a restoration from the original 16mm camera negative and an island full of bloodthirsty extras.

Amazing

"Great VHS release. Keep these coming!! Shocking these don't sell faster. Love the artwork on this one. Please release some other catalog titles like blood harvest."

Handpuppet massacre

"After their boat has sank a bunch of people drift to a stranded island that is inhabited by some puppet creatures. One of the survivors drinks from an acid pool and his face melts, an other guy runs so fast that he trips and gets impaled by a stick. The rest of the people are attacked and devoured by these little puppets that look hand puppets. Pretty much that is all that this 80 minute flick contains. I like trashy films but this is border line too trashy for me. Too amateurish to be counted as a proper film. I love the VHS packaging!"

A love letter release to the magical vhs days from vinegar syndrome.

"A beautiful big box with a magnetic open/close clip. Beautiful new art but the coolest thing is the lights inside the box that turns on once you open the box and shine through the clear see through vhs tape. Although I would have loved for the original movie artwork to be displayed with maybe another vhs cover inside the big box or maybe a slip cover for the big box itself with the original artwork. Still this is one very cool big box vhs edition of this fun cult classic horror film which I first saw on a bootleg vhs copy back in the day and now I finally own this remastered vhs to go along with the bluray also from the unique vinegar syndrome. Keep up the great work VS."

"Excellent art and box design. The big box looks great on a shelf. The movie itself is terrible, but in a fun kind of way."
