"Vinegar Syndrome makes THE MOST COMFY SHIRTS of any boutique label. They fit perfectly, while also hanging loose. This shirt is thicker than the ultra soft series of shirts I have from Vin Syn but it is still soft and cool. The design goes with any of my jeans and jackets. I always love coordinating Vin Syn designs with my look, as it also is a conversation starter with other film lovers. ANOTHER GREAT PURCHASE!"
"There is an argument to be made that the collector's shirt is the most honest form of criticism available to us — a public, unhedged declaration made with the body rather than the pen. This one makes it well. The design works because it commits: burnt orange on black, figures rendered in the flattened poster vocabulary of the disreputable single-sheet, set against a rippling line pattern that arrives with a quiet nod toward a certain sleeve you already own. The reference is there for those who want it and invisible to everyone else, which is the correct calibration for a graphic tee. The print is dense and even, the black is a real black rather than the washed charcoal that lesser merchandise passes off, and the cut is generous without becoming shapeless. It says what one wants said, at the volume one wants it said. Five stars."
