Reviews
Awesome Shark Film
"I saw this film in the theater. I was a one night only showing. I took my oldest son to it. It was a lot of fun. The practical and CGI effects were cheezy but that was on purpose. Lots of heart and charm was put into this one. Glad to own it with this great slip. It shipped relatively fast with my other orders. Thank you!"

Fantastic!
"The circumstances under which I was able to watch Hot Spring Shark Attack for the first time were so unique, I never thought I’d be able to find it again. So when I found it here ON BLURAY I nearly cried with excitement. I love this movie, and the behind-the-scenes extras were so fun to see as well! It shipped SO much faster than I was expecting, and the quality is wonderful."

Hot Spring Shark Attack
"The artwork tells it all, a crazy fun movie about Shark Attacks. Don´t hesitate if you´re into Shark movies."
— Hansi L. (5/5)
A Ridiculously Fun Low-Budget Shark Attack
"Hot Spring Shark Attack has such an absurd premise that it immediately won me over: ancient sharks are able to travel through the plumbing of a Japanese hot spring town and attack people practically anywhere. The movie knows exactly how ridiculous that sounds and completely commits to the joke. The tiny budget is obvious, but that's a huge part of the charm. The filmmakers use puppets, miniatures, green screens, deliberately crude CGI, and other homemade effects rather than trying to disguise their limitations. The increasingly outrageous ways the sharks appear become some of the funniest moments in the movie. Most importantly, the shark action starts quickly and keeps escalating. By the time the creatures are displaying increasingly bizarre abilities and the townspeople are trying equally ridiculous ways to stop them, the film has fully embraced its kaiju and sharksploitation influences. It's intentionally cheap, silly, and completely over the top, but that's precisely why it works. If you enjoy movies like Sharknado or Japanese low-budget splatter and kaiju films, this is an absolute blast."

Hot Spring Shark Attack
"This is to me what Sharknado was to the internet a decade ago"
— Jack H. (5/5)
Unhinged creature-feature perfection
"If the title alone doesn't sell you, the sheer absurdity of ancient sharks terrorizing Japanese bathhouses will. It’s a blast that completely leans into its ridiculous premise and refuses to take itself seriously."
— CHAN T. (5/5)
Hot Spring Shark Attack
"Great artwork and features!"
— Hunter R. (5/5)
Shark craziness from japan
"Interesting and fun take on the no budget shark movie, with a neat premise, very Japanese humor and some cool cameos."
— Lennard B. (5/5)
Fun ride
"Overall fun zany comedy with sharks. Slipcover is ok but the experience is worth it."
— Brett C. (3/5)
One of the most fun movies I've ever seen
"Less like the old Asylum films sharksploitation movies, and more in line with a proper low budget but well scripted comedy, sort of in line with old Leslie Neilson flicks like Airplane or Naked Gun, but focusing on sharks."
— Lucas W. (5/5)
